We had a very nice stay. The weather was perfect and the beach was somewhat secluded so it seemed like we had our own private beach. My son brought his dog and she loved the water. I would definitely stay there again.

I had never booked with VRBO and was a bit apprehensive . However, I jumped in with both feet and had the best experience. The communication with Ed was fantastic. Shortly after booking, I had several questions. He always responded, immediately or at least within 24 hours. (I was probably annoying). The property description and details are exactly as listed. Ed’s check- in process was so simple. As soon as I entered the unit it was exactly as the pictures online showed! As I began to settle in, I did notice a couple of things. One was TOTALLY my error. I did not read Ed’s email properly. Ed specifically said to bring your own beach towels, bath towels, beach chairs. Well, I remembered what he said about the beach towels and beach chairs but I didn’t remember what he said about bath towels! I came via airplane to VA Beach/Chic’s Beach. Needless to say, my first outing was a trip to Target. The other thing that surprised me was that several items of clothing and a couple of bathing suits were left in the bedroom drawers. I had assumed the unit would have been checked/inventoried in between guests. Those things were just minute. I had the chance to meet Ed at the end of the week. He stopped over to say hello. Personally, I think it is nice to be able to meet the owner and for the owner to meet their guests. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Ed has a beautiful home that he shares. Should my travels lead me back to Chic’s Beach, Ed is my first call!

Location was great! Morning walks and coffee by the beach was a wonderful experience! Ed was great and quick at communicating with us. Can’t wait to comeback! Definitely recommend 😄

The location was very convenient to many restaurants and eateries. Waking up to the beach out the back door was amazing. The owner was very accommodating and responsive to all inquiries.

Very nice and quiet area to stay away from the touristy area. The beach is not crowded. Ed was very accommodating. Would definitely come back with the family.

Quiet, clean, comfortable 3 bedroom condo, full kitchen, and beautiful balcony views of the water. We loved that we could just walk down the steps and right onto the beach! Friendly, professional hosts, seamless rental & check in, and home-y atmosphere, but close to restaurants and all the fun of Virginia Beach. Will definitely stay there again, and would leave 500 stars if allowed!

My family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property. Being right on the beach was amazing. The views are beautiful from inside and from the deck. And it is steps to the lovely beach. The place was very clean, plenty of room for four of us, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Great place!

When we walked into our unit, and we stayed on the top floor, our jaws dropped at the cleanliness, the expansiveness, and the fact that our open balcony looked directly onto the beach! Our family of five was extremely comfortable in this unit, the beds are great which is some thing you don’t always get and we have learned to appreciate! One of the biggest assets of course is that this unit is right on the beach. While the beach is not private, we stayed during a very busy beach weekend and never had to worry about not having space for our family. Regarding the reviews about being near a bridge, it is right next to Chesapeake bay bridge but don’t let that be a deterrent, we hardly noticed it. Ed was so nice and checked in with us throughout to make sure we enjoyed our stay,. I can see why this place is continually booked!
